Calling all thrill seekers and adrenaline junkies for this White water rafting session on the River Dee in North Wales. When you arrive you will be given all your equipment and welcomed with a safety briefing before spending an hour and a half on the water. You will experience the white water in one of the best spots in the UK. The qualified instructor will guide you through 3km of rapids on a grade 2 - 4 whitewater. There are great facilities onsite with toilets, showers and a cafe when you get off the water. Remember your swimming costume because you will definitely be getting wet!

A great time was had by all. Rafting was a 40th birthday present and even in February it was great. Only comment from a couple of the participants was that they would have liked a bit longer on the river. Photographs were really reasonably priced which was a pleasant surprise.

- Your session will last around 2.5 hours, with 1.5 hours on the water
- You will form part of a group of up to 6 people

- You need to wear trainers and bring a towel, swimwear and a change of clothes
- During the time when the courses are run, the weather will not normally cause a run to be cancelled
- In the unlikely event that your run is postponed, another date will be offered to you

- There is a large outdoor area overlooking the river and a Cafe
- There is an excellent view over the main rapids from the bank and the bridge in Llangollen

- The minimum age is 8 with no upper age limit, so adults and kids may be rafting together
- Under 16s must be accompanied by a participating adult
- There is a maximum weight of 18 stone
- Participants do not have to be able to swim but need to be confident in moving water.
- Not suitable for pregnant women

Simply brilliant day out The staff were excellent and ensured that everybody had a great experience. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed it and we would definitely recommend this experience to anybody. The area around Llangollen is beautiful too, so I would suggest making a day of it. Thanks for the memories and for such a great day

After treating my hubby to the white water rafting on the river Dee a good friend of ours decided hed like to come along too. So...we ended up having a few drinks the night before not a good idea When we arrived the next day our rafting guide spotted that I wasnt on the best form and thinking I was worried about falling in, told me not to worry as the life jacket would keep me afloat. I confessed I was feeling a little hungover and delicate in the hope that itd get me some sympathy and thought Id got it, until we then carried the raft down the river it was March in North Wales and cold, cold, cold. I couldnt get in the raft quick enough. We all got settled and our sympathetic guide tipped us all out into the icy water. Thatll cure you he said. And it did After that we were rock jumping and submerging in the rapids. Totally brilliant
