Each of you will receive an all-day Rover ticket valid for all services on the line, which runs from Cranmore Station to Mendip Vale. With your Rover tickets, you can enjoy all-day steam train rides and take in the stunning Somerset countryside. But that's not all - the experience also includes a cream tea for two at the Whistlestop Cafe. Located at the main station, it's the ideal spot for a break while observing the comings and goings outside. Your voucher entitles you to two scones each, served with clotted cream, jam, and butter, and your choice of drink from tea or coffee. After your delicious cream tea, why not take a little stroll? You can visit the East Somerset model shop, explore the engine shed (where all the restoration work takes place), discover the David Shepherd Discovery Centre, and check out the miniature railway too. I was given a train ride and afternoon tea as a gift so not something of would have booked. Took my husband and we had a lovely staff were so welcoming and helpful the train and food was amazing and you could see the restoration work on further trains. Thank once staff for making it an enjoyable experience.
