Visit Carr Taylors Vineyard for a Vineyard Tour and Tasting with Cream Tea for Two. This 37 acre, family run vineyard produces high quality English wines and has done at their location near Hastings, East Sussex since 1971. The current owners' parents were the original planters of the vines and the family carries the passion with them through to today. You will be welcomed to the winery with tea and coffee before having the history and production method shared with you on your visit. After your tour you get to the best bit with a tutored tasting of wine produced by the vineyard. Included in your tour is a cream tea for two where you will be treated to scones, strawberry jam, clotted cream, homemade cake and tea or coffee, along with a glass of wine. We think you will have a fantastic day drinking wine and making memories with your friend or loved one.

We thoroughly enjoyed our trip to Carr Taylor vineyard. We had coffee on arrival. Our guide was really good and knowledgeable.Wine tasting at the end of the tour was really good as well sampling several different wines.Ploughmans lunch was delicious and you served yourself. Plenty for everyone and with a glass of wine to go with it. Highly recommend this.

An excellent talk by Dave who certainly knew everything about this vineyard. The whole experience was fascinating my wife I learnt a lot. Tasted 6 different wines, explanations were given for each one, which the winery was producing. Fabulous. Our voucher included a ploughmans meal at the end of the tour, which included salad, local cheeses, bread, chutneys of course another one of their own wines. Thoroughly recommended.

We were disappointed not to have a taste or chance to buy the still white but that was due to poor weather last year. It showed us one of the struggles for small wine producers. The visit was informative and the buffet lunch very good. Would recommend to wine lover friends.

Very good guide and venue. Interesting information, but we were disappointed not to be able to walk through the vineyard rain and that there was insufficient wine from last years harvest to taste or buy the ones we were interested in.Also the pretrip information promised homemade cake and coffee on arrival...we were offered instant coffee and mini packaged biscuit packs. The lunch was nice but no deserts or drinks on offer.

The guide was excellent and very informative, the winetasting could have been a little more professional and the buffet food was very good. Needless to say, we bought some of their sparkling wine which was of very good quality.
