This is quite simply the best way to ease gently into the day when you’ve got some down time to enjoy, with access to spa facilities and either breakfast or lunch at Swinton Country Club and Spa, located within the grounds of Swinton Park in Ripon, North Yorkshire. At the centre of this sprawling estate is a 17th century castle that is now a four star hotel, set within 20,000 acres that is situated in the Nidderdale Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty on the border of the Yorkshire Dales National Park. And best of all, with the Simply Spa daytime package, there’s no need to set your alarm at a ridiculous time - after all, who wants to be up that early on a day off? You’ll have full access to spa facilities, including an indoor pool, outside natural pool, a hydrotherapy pool and thermal retreat between 10:30am and 12:30pm, with the option to enjoy either a traditional Yorkshire breakfast before your spa, or a light lunch afterwards, all served from the hotel’s Country Kitchen with a variety of healthy, delicious meals prepared fresh every day. If the weather’s good for it, you can even sit out on the terrace overlooking the grounds. All in all, it’s the perfect morning to enjoy at leisure.
