One thing that the Dartmoor National Park is famous for is its many rugged rock formations and granite tors - and this awesome Rock Climbing experience will let you scale them! Your meeting point will be at the local store and coffee shop in Princetown, from where you will drive out to the climbing spot. There's a number of different areas you can attempt, each with different rock types and routes, but don't worry - your guide will be able to help you pick out the one best suited for you. You'll be fully kitted out with a harness, climbing helmet, belay device and chalk, and your instructor will guide you through how to use these and ensure your safety is paramount so you're confident prior to taking on your climb. Depending on your level of ability, you'll either be taking on the open vistas of the tors, which are impressive 'freestanding' stacks of granite rock, with the promise of spectacular views over the remote moorlands at the top, or you might be heading to the woodlands to scale some crags. Ideal for both newcomer and experienced climbers alike, this promises to be a perfect half day in the heart of Dartmoor!

What's Included
- Half day outdoor rock climbing in Dartmoor National Park
- Climb the beautiful granite tors of Dartmoor or head to the wooded crags
- Spectacular views over the Moors from the top of the tors
- Experienced, passionate climbers will help guide you on the rock
- All necessary health and safety equipment is provided and briefing will be given
- Half day session lasts for four hours
- You may form a group of up to six participants

- All ability levels will be tailored to but you should be able to walk 1/2km - 1km on uneven terrain

Meeting location before heading to Dartmoor National Park:
- Dewerstone Coffee Shop, Princetown, Yelverton
- You will need your own transport from the coffee shop to the climbing location which will be given on the day
