River Dart Stand Up Paddleboarding Tour

About the experience
Product ID: 15759
This is one day out with a difference on the water in Devon, as you'll get to go on a guided tour of the River Dart via a stand up paddleboard! Stand up paddleboarding - or SUP for short - is one of the best ways to discover the delights of this picturesque stretch of river that starts at Steamer Quays in Totnes and flows out to Dartmouth. It's suitable for all ages 8 and up, so is perfect for both families, friends, locals and holidaymakers alike to enjoy. The tour is conducted at a very relaxed pace, and you'll be fully kitted out with your board, paddle, buoyancy aid and roll top dry bag for your personal belongings. Your guide will also instruct you prior to heading out so you can learn how to paddleboard even if you have no experience at all, and be confident when you launch. This part of the river is tidal, so it rises and falls in terms of the water levels, but all tidal times are taken into account so you're going at the right time and in the safest conditions possible. And there's so much scenery to take in that you can't help but feel at one with nature, taking in all the wildlife and surroundings. Of course, breaks and stops can be included along the way to help you get the most out of your adventure, where you will get to explore the River Dart like you never have before.
