Sink your claws into this exclusive 2 Hour Owl Encounter in Northumberland. This centre is not normally open to the public and provides a unique opportunity to work with, handle, photograph and admire a collection of stunning owls from all around the world. You will have the chance to see these magnificent creatures up close as they perch on your gloved hand and capture them on film as they swoop, glide and dive gracefully over the open fields. As well as extensive handling, you'll get to learn all about the different species of owls here at Northumberland National Park alongside instructors who know a thing or two about these incredibly intelligent birds. This unique owl experience takes place at a family-run Northumberland centre located just outside the village of Wark. This Owl Encounter is the perfect way to spend some time outdoors in nature and get up close and personal with these stunning birds as you learn about all the different species from around the globe.

Everything went very smoothly, overseen by an experienced falconer who kept everything spinning along nicely. Poor weather unfortunately, but that only partly limited the activities which were well organised and very interesting.

Great location and very knowledgeable staff from the start of the session they make you feel welcome and comfortable. They have a great selection of birds and the welfare of the animals is their top priority.

Go online and follow the booking instructions it is that simple and your voucher is posted out to you. Ring the number and arrange your day. It was very simple to book a day of adventure with Into the Blue. I enjoyed my Falconry day immensely the course organisers were very informative and friendly.
