Northern Ireland Game of Thrones North Tour with Giants Causeway

About the experience
Product ID: 14134
Since first airing in 2011 on Sky, HBO’s Game of Thrones has enchanted and kept audiences gripped with its mix of fantasy and drama inspired by the bestselling “A Song of Ice and Fire” novels by George R.R Martin. And it’s County Antrim, in the top most corner of Northern Ireland, which has featured prominently as a filming location in the series - which you’ll get to discover on this exclusive tour in a luxury coach, hosted by tour guides that have worked as extras on the show, who’ll be able to offer you plenty of insight into filming of the series. Driving along the famous Dark Hedges, which doubled as the Kings Road that Ayra travels along after escaping from King’s Landing, from here, you’ll head to the coastal caves at Cushendun that are over 400 million years old, which served as the backdrop for where Melisandre gave birth to the shadow assassin. You’ll need a head for heights to tackle the rope bridge at Carrick-a-Rede, situated between the headland and a small island on the Antrim coast near Ballintoy, which GoT fans will recognise as Stormland near Storm’s End, the base camp for the Renly Barantheon army. But you’ll not only get to take in well known locations from the show; you’ll also get to visit the iconic Giants Causeway, a true landmark that’s a couple of hours away from Belfast, that combines myth and legend with reality for a truly breathtaking sight unlike any other you’ll have ever seen.

Customer Reviews for the Northern Ireland Game of Thrones North Tour with Giants Causeway
Our tour guide was very very good not only was he knowledgeable about G.O.T but also explained a lot about the history of Belfast and surrounding areas as we drove through them, so it was almost like we had a tour within the tour. Our guide brought dress up equipment so people could get some great photos from the locations.I couldnt recommend enough we thoroughly enjoyed our day and would definitely make the trip from Birmingham to do it all again

The sites we visited where all very good. The only problem was time. We where given an hour at the rope bridge and an hour at giants causeway most of which is taken up with walking from the car park to the attractions. The rope bridge also has a que which meant It was very rushed.
