Just a few miles south of bustling Bath lies the charming Norton St Philip, an area with a distinct rural charm and agricultural prominence. Tucked away behind the pastoral Brown Shutters Farm is a private airstrip known for its rich history, believed to have been created in 1988 by Mr. Newbigin to house his Tiger Moth. Today, this private airfield continues to be a haven for a select group of aviation enthusiasts. The Cyclone AX2000, with its fixed high wing, side-by-side seating, and forgiving nature, is ideal for beginners. Meanwhile, the Pegasus Quantum 15-912, chosen by Brad as the flex wing model, is renowned as one of the most popular flexwing microlights in the world and is commonly used in training schools. Both models provide the exhilarating experience of open-cockpit flying and are capable of running on regular unleaded fuel or aviation gas (AVGAS). Beyond mastering the art of flying, you will uncover intriguing details, such as their fuel versatility, during your lesson.

- You may take your lesson in either a fixed wing Cyclone AX2000 or Pegasus Quantum flex wing microlight
- A pre-flight safety briefing, introduction to the aircraft and equipment
- Once airborne you will have the option to take the controls and fly the microlight yourself or simply sit back and enjoy the views

Absolutely mind blowing experience, something I cannot recommend highly enough. The pilot instructor, Brad Wagenhauser was extremely reassuring and a really nice guy. Cant believe even now that we flew over the skies of Somerset. Really desperately want to do it again and am looking into how I can find pilot training courses.

A brilliant experience. Brad makes you feel at ease and is the cimsaumate professional. He really helped with my nerves. The set up is relaxed but at all times you know you are in safe hands. The flight was just amazing. Such an organic experience as you are so connected with the sky and environment. Totally different to other flying experiences. Give it a go

Most thrilling experience with a reassuringly professional and competent pilot. Brad was welcoming to my wife and me on arrival at the delightful airfield and entertaining company during the flight. Importantly, his preflight communications were quick and helpful. Fiona, who we left at the airfield during the flight, thoroughly enjoyed her time on the ground. Having seen Wiltshire from such a different perspective, I will go again.

Microlight flight got cancelled at 8.30am on the day of the flight as pilot stuck in France. Rebooked for the following day which turned out to be a clear blue warm day so perfect conditions and much better than the previous days weather.The pilot was friendly, made me feel at ease, explained everything very well, I took controls for a lot of the flight time. Brilliant experience, flight time 1 hour and I was given a choice of routes.

Flight was amazing. Very smooth with lovely views over Bath, Cheddar Gorge and countryside. Brad put me at my ease and explained everything. Only lost a star as weather meant it had to be postponed 3 times and road closures at Limpley Stoke made access very difficult. Well worth the wait and perseverance getting there though. Thank you Brad
