Your host, Rob, is an incredibly experienced microlight instructor, examiner, inspector, and check pilot with thousands of hours of flying experience. At our Doncaster base, Rob flies the Pegasus Quantum 912 and the Thruster Jabiru Sprint. The Pegasus is a flexwing model that seats two people and is controlled using a control bar, while the fixed-wing Thruster Jabiru Sprint provides a more conventional flying experience. Whether you're a complete beginner or have some flying experience, our tailored microlighting lessons will suit your needs. You'll have the opportunity to take control of the aircraft if you're up for it. Located between Doncaster and Scunthorpe, Sandtoft Airfield boasts a welcoming atmosphere, an on-site café, restrooms, and ample parking. Experience the thrill of microlighting with us!

An hour was really just enough, the experience was for me breathtaking. Having never been in the air in a powered aircraft as a first time i couldnt have asked for better. The fact that the pilot was experienced and was happy to answer all my questions made the experience special, thank you . Booking the flight was straight forward and easy.

I cant recommend this experience high enough, what an amazing way to see an area. Flying out over Flamborough in near perfect weather conditions was an experience Im never going to forget. Very easy to book my flight, great communication throughout the whole process, including when the original day had to be change due to poor weather. Excellent pilot on the day and would certainly recommend to anyone thinking about booking.
