These one-hour sessions are long enough for children to learn a lot while being short enough to keep the attention of little ones as young as four years old. In the farmer’s field, you will meet various birds of prey. Our head falconer, Dan, is justifiably proud of his magnificent birds. You'll quickly discover that each bird has its own unique personality, and they can be quite cheeky—just like the kids! Getting the opportunity to meet and fly a Barn Owl and a Kestrel is truly amazing. While they do have impressive claws, these birds are well trained to land gently on your gloved hand. And if you offer them a tasty treat, they will warm up to you as well! This experience also takes place in the beautiful Derbyshire countryside, right in the heart of the National Forest. It's where the birds feel most at home, soaring around the hedgerows and over open fields. The sessions are suitable for children aged four and up, and adults can use the vouchers too, allowing them to actively participate in the experience. If an adult prefers not to join, spectator tickets are available on the day for £10 (at the time of writing), allowing them to accompany the children throughout their visit.

- Spectators may attend for a fee payable on the day of £10, cash only
- Parents can purchase a voucher to handle the birds too and join the session to make it a whole family experience
