While they tackle hair-raising climbs, ruts, and the infamous elephant steps (yes, that’s a thing), you’ll be in the back seat - holding on, praying, and possibly questioning your life choices. There’s even a seesaw. For a car. It’s part terrifying, part brilliant, and fully unforgettable. After the kids have shown you what a Defender can really do (scared the daylights out of you), it’s time to head off to a stunning 140-acre camping spot near Llandrindod Wells. But this isn’t just any campsite - oh no. Your accommodation for the night is perched right on the roof of the Defender. Enter the Tentbox: a rooftop tent complete with its own ladder, turning your rugged 4x4 into a mobile penthouse. Settle in wherever you like, light up the firepit they provide, and enjoy marshmallows under a blanket of stars with the epic Welsh countryside as your backdrop. All you need to bring is some sleeping gear and a sense of adventure. A Land Rover, a Tentbox, and a wild camping experience that’s equal parts thrilling and ridiculous - this is one family adventure you’ll be talking about for years.

The Drive:- Drive the new-style Land Rover Defender
- Welcome and safety briefing with your professional instructor
- 1:1 in-car tuition from a professional instructor
- Experiences take place on a purpose-built 4x4 course
- Tackle steep climbs and descents, side slopes and challenging slippery slopes
- Two hours behind the wheel, which can be shared between two junior drivers
- The car is fitted with full dual-control pedals, including an accelerator
- If your child can't reach or operate the pedals, the instructor can operate theme, leaving the child to simply steer
- Up to two passengers may accompany juniors for their experience (one must be an adult 18+)
- Certificate of achievement
The Camp:- Overnight break at the famous CoCo's mountain top basecamp
- Your guide will help set up camp before leaving you to enjoy your adventure
- Sleep in the unique Tentbox XL set up on top of the Defender
- Relax around the private firepit before climbing up the tentbox ladder when it's time for bed!
- Your guide will return at 10:30 the following morning to help pack up and take you back down the mountain
