About the experience

Product ID: 14273

The Iron Bridge is a symbol of English engineering being the world's first iron bridge that was erected over the River Severn, Shropshire in 1779. See this incredible structure and other sites such as Bridgenorth and Dudmaston Hall from a birds eye view with this helicopter tour. The helicopter tour takes off from Halfpenny Green Airfield near Birmingham. From high up you will see the stunning views of The Severn Valley Railway and the River Severn. Your helicopter will hold 4-6 people as you will be flying in either the Robinson R44 or the AS350 Single Squirrel Helicopter. As you fly over the beautiful countryside, the pilot will tell you about what you can see on your 34 mile flight. So take off in style and book this Iron Bridge, Severn and Bridgenorth Helicopter Tour.

My wife and I wanted to celebrate our children s birthday a little different being 21 so, instead of the usual things like watches and items of expensive clothes we opted for an experience which, was fantastic. We all had a fabulous time and we recommend it to anyone who wanted totry something different.

Excellent experience, friendly and efficient staff, roomy cabin in helicopter, really enjoyed it...my only suggestion is clearer instructions that meeting point is actually in the caf at the airport and signage on site could be improved...overall a great experience at the right price.

Everything from the beginning was very professional, from the phone calls to the payment to our vouchers arriving.we would recommend it to anybody first class The only thing that wasnt very clear, was when we arrived and parked up there were no signs telling us were we had to go. We wernt on our own either their were a lot of people that didnt know were to go . Apart from that we really enjoyed it and we will be doing it again Thank you mrmrs Jones

Although the experience was very good, mother nature was against us and we had to land the helicopter after around 12 minutes due to a storm. I am awaiting an email to confirm the trip to be rescheduled free of charge, which was promised and confirmed by the pilot and the support team on the ground.

The experience itself was really good. Disappointed that it was cancelled twice. Once due to weather conditions and the weather predictions were fine and the second time due to the number of cancellations.

The helicopter ride was good, but a bit disappointed with the destination. Was really only looking at green fields. Maybe next time will look at a more picturesque setting. Very short duration.
