Hovercrafting is a fun adventure, but be prepared for "splash back"—mud and water flying everywhere! You’ll pilot the craft from a kneeling position, using your weight to steer. It requires balance and good judgment, as there are no brakes—just a throttle and rudder. Don't worry; ample instruction and guidance will be provided. You’ll soon navigate the slalom course, aiming to avoid obstacles and score points, all while enjoying the ride. Our taster sessions offer about 8-10 minutes of drive time. the event was fantastic. friendly instructor that took time to ensure i was getting the most from the event.after a safety talk it was straight into the hovercraft for instruction then more advanced moves. then on to the water small pond for more fun all in all a great event

My girlfriend got me a hovercraft Leicestershire voucher. Its a good centre on the outskirts of Leicestershire and you get lots of driving time compared to other hovercraft racing UK venues.

I went to drive a hovercraft in Leicestershire after a night of rain. I can tell you its even more fun with mud being slung everywhere. Take a change of clothes though for the drive home.
