All aspiring gladiators will be fully kitted out in protective padding (think replica armour) and equipped with a softsword and softshield to strike and defend against their opponents. After a ringside safety briefing, the battles commence— each battle lasting around three intense minutes. Expect a fast-paced, physical challenge that will test your stamina, agility, and tactical skills. It’s not just about strength; a true gladiator fights with strategy, knowing when to attack and when to defend. Held at pop-up venues in Portsmouth and Hampshire, these softsword gladiator games offer a high-energy, fun-filled experience.
