    • One day fire poker and hook blacksmith experience at workshop in Horsmonden, Kent
    • Warm welcome, introduction and safety briefing
    • Tour of the workshop
    • Tutoring and guidance throughout session
    • Learn how to make a fire poker and hook to take home and use your own gas forge, anvil and hand tools
    • You'll be guided through a handful of techniques such as forging, free hand forming on the anvil and former/jig use in the vice
    • Practical demonstrations will be shown throughout the day
    • Materials, PPE and equipment will be provided
    • A hearty stew (root vegetables, chickpea and spices) for lunch is included
    • You may form part of a group of up to 6 people on the day
    • Not suitable for spectators
    • Under 18s must be accompanied by a participating adult
    • Due to the nature of this activity a good, general level of fitness is required
    • Available Fridays throughout the year
    • The course does not operate in July and August 
    • Sessions generally start at 9:30 finishing around 17:30
    • Minimum Age: 15 years
