Guided by artisan blacksmith Alex, a skilled craftsman in traditional forging techniques, you'll focus on creating functional and decorative metal knives. With a maximum of four students per class, you’ll receive personalised instruction as you transform a steel billet into a handcrafted knife. Experience the satisfaction of “heating the metal in the fire and bashing it on the anvil.” Join Alex at his historic Victorian workshop, part of the National Waterways Museum, and take home your unique creation!
