Although you won't be leaving the ground in this flying experience, it doesn't stop you from having an authentic lesson as this sim is built from the actual frame of an R22 with a real functional cockpit to go with it too. Alongside a 180 degree screen and insanely good graphics - it won't feel like you're flying groundside at all. Whether you've already got some flying experience under your belt, or you are a complete newbie, this simulator session is a fully customised experience which suits all ability levels. Alongside a friendly instructor, you'll sit down beforehand to discuss what you'd like to get out of the session or if you're feeling on the adventurous side, organise to try mastering ground manoeuvres and cross country flying. This was a wonderful experience that will be enjoyed by anybody with an interest in flying a helicopter. The realism is excellent, the instructor very helpful so that the visitor can both discover what it is like to fly the helicopter and also see how it can do things impossible in a fixed wing aircraft.
