Budding airline pilots in and around Brighton will want to try out this cool 60 minute flight simulator session at Brighton City Airport in Shoreham-by-Sea. In fact, it's just the perfect place to enjoy this as you're surrounded by aviation here. Your maiden (virtual) flight as captain will take place in a realistic and detailed cockpit setting on a fixed-base simulator, with working controls and incredible visuals on high-definition screens. You'll definitely get a sense of what it might be like to be at the flightdeck of a real Boeing 737-800, sitting at the gate ready to push back. You can take your pick of destination from over 22,000 different airports, and can even control the weather conditions and even simulate an in-flight emergency to deal with at 35,000 ft! The team who run these experiences are very friendly and you can even bring a guest along to witness your piloting skills from the jump seat. There's also plenty to explore on-site at the Art Deco styled airport afterwards as well, so you can even make a day of it.

- Under 18s must be accompanied on site by an adult
- The Flightdeck is a genuine scale replica, it may not be suitable for people of certain body dimensions (height or weight). Please check prior to purchase if you have any concerns
- A degree of physical mobility will be required in order to access the flight deck and take up your seat in the cockpit
- May not be suitable for customers with photo sensitive epilepsy or who have a sensitivity to strobe lighting effects, have back or neck problems and those who are pregnant
- This experience is not suitable for wheelchair users

- The guest can sit in the 'jump seat' which is situated behind the Captain's seat in the cockpit of the simulator
- A maximum of 5 guests can wait in the reception area

- This is a 'fixed base' simulator and although it doesn't move due to visual trickery you will be convinced it did!

Very welcoming and friendly. Had email before to ask if there were any particular routes or flights to tailor to your requirements. Jon was very friendly and explained everything clearly and couldnt do enough to make sure the experience went smoothly. Would recommend and look forward to doing this experience again as there are so many variables that mean each session would be different.
