Located 13 miles inland from the Devonshire coast, Eaglescott Airfield offers the freedom of uncontrolled airspace, allowing you to enjoy a relaxed flying lesson under the expert guidance of your fully-trained flight instructor. Your adventure begins with a safety briefing and an introduction to aircraft control basics. While your instructor handles takeoff and landing, you'll have ample opportunity to take the controls, even managing the throttle levers as you navigate over the charming coastal towns, villages, and cliffs of North Devon. After your gentle landing, relax in the airfield's welcoming clubhouse with a steaming cup of tea or coffee as you reflect on your exhilarating experience.

It was a truly wonderful experience. Barry the pilot was so relaxed and kind. I felt totally at ease all through the flight. A full pre flight check was explained and shown, then once in the air I was allowed to control the plane under Barrys excellent tutelage.It was wonderful to fly over North Devon and see how beautiful everything looked from above.Barry had such wonderful knowledge of the whole area it was a delight to listen too.This was the second flight I had taken and it did not disappoint.
