Introduced in the 1940s to the Royal Air Force, these planes played a vital role in military liaison and observation during WW2 over the British skies. After being restored and lovingly looked after, these very types of planes are now available for flights across the Lincolnshire countryside for passengers who want to enjoy a re-enactment of an important time in history. Included in this experience is a pre-flight briefing and outline of the flight plan which also includes you being equipped with a military flying suit. You’ll definitely be looking (and feeling!) the part as you climb on board the plane and settle into the unique rumbles of this historic engine that used to fill the skies over Britain. In no time at all, your experienced pilot will have you airborne, as you look out of the silver grey windows you’ll be treated to stunning countryside views over Spalding and beyond.
