About the experience
Experience white water rafting in Northampton at the UK's first artificial pumped whitewater course on the River Nene, which opened in 1999. With three large pumps controlling the flow along a 300-meter section, beginners can learn in calmer conditions and gradually tackle more challenging rapids as their skills improve. Your two-hour adventure includes a safety briefing and instruction, followed by practice on flat water before you complete up to five or six exciting circuits of the raft run. Spectators can enjoy the action from various viewpoints around the channel. The venue provides wetsuits, windproof jackets, flotation aids, and safety helmets—just bring your swimwear and a sense of adventure. Experienced guides will ensure you have a safe and fun experience. With excellent facilities and top-notch tuition, you’re guaranteed an exhilarating day at Northampton's premier water sports centre!

Information
- Spectators are welcome to come and watch
- Viewing areas provide great views of the action
- Minimum age 12
- Under 18's must have a completed parental consent form and be accompanied on-site by an adult.
- There is no maximum age limit; however, the activity is physically demanding
- You do not have to be a swimmer but must be confident being in and around water whilst wearing a buoyancy aid
- Maximum weight is 18 stone
Minimum Age: 12 years
Maximum Weight: 114.30 kg
- Participants should bring a towel, swimwear, old shorts and a pair of closed-toe shoes that can get wet (no crocs or wellies)
- The centre has a full changing room and showering facilities including those for the disabled, a cafeteria, a lift and training rooms if required
- There is ample parking on site
- Nearby hotels and B and B accommodation can be recommended
- Saturdays and Sundays from April to October
- Participants should arrive at least 15 minutes prior to their booked slot

- April-September: Saturdays 10:00 and 12:30 / Sundays 14:00
- October: Saturdays 10:00 and 12:30 / Sundays 15:30
