About the experience
There is surely no better way to enjoy some quality time together, than flying high in the basket of a hot air balloon. Now you can look forward to doing exactly that on our fantastic weekday hot air ballooning package, taking off from Wild Pig Farm from the picturesque Oxfordshire village of Stadhampton. There's a working farm and farm shop both on site, making this one of the most unique destinations to take flight from, with lots of good facilities to enjoy both before and after your flight, and perfect for the whole family to come along to and watch you both take off. The expert ballooning team will guide you through everything you need to about taking off and coming into land. And as it's the wind determining your route and how far you'll travel, it's an aerial adventure unlike any other. The pilot will release the burners to help your balloon gain altitude and fly to heights of 2000ft. Seeing the Oxfordshire countryside, and its many villages, fields, roads and rivers far below is quite a sight to behold. And when you come back down to earth, you'll feel every bump as you do so - but that's all part of the fun! If you want to assist with the balloon deflation and packing up you can, and you'll be transported back to the farm after your flight is over. Plus, you can toast the flight and just about any special occasion you're booking this experience for with a complimentary glass of champagne!

- Minimum age 10
- Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult
- Minimum height 4ft 8ins (146 cm)
- Not suitable during pregnancy
- Nobody under the influence of alcohol is permitted to fly
- Passengers must be able to stand unassisted for at least an hour, be able to bend their knees to take the seated landing position, follow all instructions given by the pilot and react quickly in the unlikely event of an emergency
- Passengers must be sure they do not have any pre-existing or current medical conditions which could be affected by a hot air balloon flight including but not exclusively recent major surgery
- The basket provides easy access: Two compartments have doors with just a small step up and down.The other two compartments have foot holes in the basket to help you climb in and out
- Family and friends are welcome to watch your take-off

- Vouchers are valid for use on weekdays from April to October
- Sunrise flights take off approximately one hour after sunrise
- Sunset flights take off around three hours before sunset
- Participants should arrive at least one hour before take-off
- Weather conditions need to be optimal for balloons to fly safely
- If the weather forecast is deemed unsuitable your flight will be rescheduled
- Participants must phone at 10:30 on the evening before for sunrise flights or at 13:00 on the day for sunset flights to check the status of the flight and arrival time
- Warm, comfortable layers should be worn
- Comfortable flat shoes (no flip flops, open-toed sandals or high heels)
- Hats or caps are recommended to protect your head from the burners
- This experience is excluded from additional discount codes and promotions
- The basket is designed to accommodate up to 22 people, however flights take part with between 10-18 participants
- If your flight needs to be rescheduled bookings are non-refundable and can be rescheduled only
