About the experience
Experience the best value hot air ballooning in Hampshire! These vouchers are valid for weekday flights from Monday to Thursday and offer an amazing opportunity to enjoy the thrill of flying in a balloon without straining your budget. Led by Jonathan, the pilots and crew have flown balloons all over the world, but they truly enjoy taking off from their local launch sites in Winchester. For these shared group flights, we use larger balloons with baskets that can accommodate up to 10 passengers. If you're up for it (and most people are!), you'll have the chance to assist with setting up and inflating the balloon before your flight, as well as helping to pack it down after landing. As for where you’ll land, that depends entirely on the wind over Winchester; there’s no way to steer a hot air balloon! Landings can vary from smooth and gentle to a bit bouncy, but both are completely normal. The crew will prepare you for either situation, and it's all part of the hot air ballooning experience. Once you're airborne, the views will be more incredible than you can imagine. There’s a unique serenity in floating above the world, where you can see and hear people below shouting hello and waving as you drift by.

Information
- Family and friends are welcome to watch your take-off but are not permitted to drive onto a launch field
- They may follow the balloon and greet you on landing
- Minimum age 7
- Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult
- Participants must be able to get in and out of a basket (the crew will help those who need assistance), stand for the duration and understand the important safety briefing given by your pilot
- You must be able to assume the landing position of bent knees with ankles together to absorb any impact
- Flying after major surgery, whilst suffering from a significant medical condition or whilst pregnant in your second/third trimester is not permitted
Minimum Age: 7 years
- Warm, comfortable layers should be worn
- Comfortable flat shoes (no flip-flops, open-toed sandals or high heels)
- Hats or caps are recommended to protect your head from the burners
- This experience is excluded from additional discount codes and promotions
- If your flight needs to be rescheduled, bookings are non-refundable and can be rescheduled only
- Vouchers are valid for use Monday to Thursday from April to October
- The meeting time for morning flights is generally 06:00 and 18:30 for evening flights
- Times may vary slightly throughout the season
- Weather conditions need to be optimal for balloons to fly safely
- If the weather forecast is deemed unsuitable, your flight will be rescheduled
