Ideal for those eager to explore the beauty of Herefordshire from above, you’ll soar off from Shobdon in either an open or closed cockpit microlight and make your way to a nearby airfield, such as Welshpool, Halfpenny Green, or Broad Farm. Upon landing, take a moment to relax and enjoy a tea or coffee at the cozy club house café before hopping back in the microlight for your return journey. Once back at Shobdon, you’ll have the chance to visit the on-site café and soak in the exciting aviation atmosphere, with a front-row view of parachuting, gliding, helicopters, and light aircraft taking off and landing. For those wanting to extend the adventure, there's a charming campsite and caravan park nestled beside the aerodromes picturesque cider apple orchards, making it the perfect spot for a weekend getaway. Whether you’re a thrill-seeker or simply looking for a scenic escape, this microlight experience offers a unique perspective of the Herefordshire countryside.

- Under 18s must be accompanied on the airfield by an adult
- Available weekdays and weekends throughout the year
- Flights are subject to availability and weather conditions
