This Half Day Farm and Horse Experience is all about you spending quality time with the horses, learning their daily routines and how much work goes on behind the scenes to make them look so effortlessly gleaming in the fields on this cosy Yorkshire farm near Skipwith. You'll be taking part in multiple activities with the horses that range from calling them in from the field to learning about the harness, how it fits the horse, and what each part does. To break up the day, you'll even get the chance to learn how to drive a cart or carriage with the horse but there's no skipping the clean up at the end - as it will be your responsibility to wash down the horses afterward! You'll soon get lost in the rhythmic movement of grooming and learning all about horse care as you share the day with someone else who likes horses as much as you! - Washing down your horse after your cart/carriage driving session
- Returning your horse to the field or stable

Information
- No minimum age
- Under 18s must be accompanied by an adult on site
- You must be in good health and have no mobility issues to take part in this experience
- Spectators are welcome at a charge of £30 payable direct which includes refreshments and a ploughman's lunch or picnic in the tea room

- Weekdays and weekends throughout the year, subject to availability
- Half Day: 9am-1pm or 2pm-5pm
