Get ready to transport yourself behind the scenes on the Warner Bros. Studio Tour! At the expansive studio complex in Watford, you'll get an exclusive look into the making of Harry Potter. For all the Harry Potter fans, this is a must-do day out, including a delightful afternoon tea at a luxurious hotel afterwards. It's worth noting that the studio sets you'll see on the tour are the actual ones used in the Harry Potter films, not just replicas. As you go through the Great Hall and into the Big Room, you'll glimpse Dumbledore's office and visit the Potion's Classroom and the Burrow. You'll also see how using a green screen background can create spectacular cinematic results. It's truly an enchanting place to visit. As we move on to the Backlot, you'll come across a vast area of the Warner Bros. lot that serves as a kind of studio store room. During the tour, you'll get to see the triple-decker Knight Bus and Hagrid's motorbike and catch a glimpse of the very suburban Privet Drive. Next up, you'll visit the creature effects corner, where you'll see goblin masks and gruesome prosthetics. In the making of Harry Potter, over 250 body casts were created, and those endless rubbery faces all seem to be looking at you with their beady eyes and pointy ears! One of our favourite sets in the entire Warner Bros. studio is the Diagon Alley tour. As you stroll along the cobbled street, you'll notice the intricate detailing of the shop fronts. Although it may seem strange to look up and see only lighting rigs instead of the sky, the realism of the set is impressive. Your captivating tour of the Warner Bros. studios comes to a close with a stroll through the art department. Here, you can admire the artistic designs and drawings for the sets and costumes. After that, you can take a peek into the model room to see the amount of effort the Warner Brothers team puts into constructing these incredible sets. These sets have played a significant role in making the Harry Potter franchise a massive success in the cinema industry. Of course, no Warner Brothers studio tour would be complete without a visit to the shop at the end. But beware, fans will find it hard to resist all that amazing Harry Potter memorabilia!
