About the experience

Visit a slice of Spain on Anglesey in the North of Wales with a Tapas Tour for Two. You will visit the Red Wharf Bay micro-vineyard, owned by Kevin. It was a long road to get to growing grapes in Wales but after being made redundant from his IT job, Kevin decided to throw in the towel of having a 9-5 job and followed his passion. Within the 2 hours at Red Wharf Bay you will be shown around the vineyard and told the fascinating stories of how it all started. Learn how the grapes are produced for wine and taste some of the great wine made by the vineyard along with delicious tapas. We know you will get a warm welcome from Red Wharf Bay and love tasting the wine they produce.

Beautiful location and really great experience. Very personal and Kevin was very knowledgeable and funny with his stories. Really enjoyed the visit and would recommend - we stayed at the B&B at the end of the road and walked to the pub for dinner! no car needed.
David Wilson
We had a great afternoon with the owner explaining his journey into viticulture in a wonderful setting. Generous samples of his wares and a food offering completed a most convivial time.
