About the experience
Put your creativity to the test by making your own jewellery. Take a Stacking Ring Making Workshop hosted by trained silversmith Julie. Julie has been a trained silversmith since the 90’s and began teaching others in 2009, so you are in good hands learning from her. She will welcome you into her garden studio in Humberston and start off with an introduction and briefing on what you will be doing. Throughout making your silver stacking ring you will have guided tuition on how to solder, stamp, saw, drill and polish. The session is suitable for beginners and will take around 3 hours to make your creation. Your stacking ring will then be ready to wear and show off your new skills.

Absolutely amazing morning. Julie is fabulous and gives you guidance, reassurance and is great. She is easy to chat too, her cups of tea are fab too. I was given a thorough safety chat, telling me where things were, and also how to use them. The session itself took over 3hours, I made a ring and a bangle. Nothing was too much trouble, Julie offered advice but didn't take over. She showed me how to do things, such as measure my ring size, bangle size etc but not once took anything from me she just showed me how to do what I needed to without touching my work. She is a lovely lady, very clever and creative. I had an amazing time and I will be returning and recommending her to others. This is the photo of what I created that Julie took for me before I left.

Absolutely brilliant experience. My daughter and I did this together. We made a ring each. The experience was lovely and chilled. Will be back to make another piece of jewellery.
