About the Sparkling Wine Tasting for Two - Kent
A glorious wine tasting session in the oft dubbed "Garden of England" awaits you and a friend or loved one at the Gusbourne Estate in Kent. Situated just outside the picturesque village of Appledore, on the northern most edge of Romney Marsh, the 60 acre Gusborne wine estate first planted its vines 20 years ago, which thrive with a bountiful harvest to produce wines made with true excellence, care and harmony with nature. This tasting session for two is a relaxed but informative one, with your expert host presenting you with four magnificent sparkling wines to try out. All of the wines are made using grapes grown on the vines at Gusbourne, including varieties such as Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Pinot Meunier that really come into their own under the Kent soil and sun (it is after all, the second warmest county in the UK, so perfect for vine growing conditions). You'll have the opportunity to ask your host questions about the winemaking process as and when the opportunity arises. Once you're done with the tasting, you're welcome to go for a leisurely stroll around the vineyard - the perfect way to end an enjoyable hour or two on the estate!

- Gusbourne Brut Reserve: a balanced and approachable blend of Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier
- Gusbourne Blanc de Blancs: an elegant and mineral Chardonnay
- Gusbourne Rosé: a beautiful, complex blend of Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier and Chardonnay
- Gusbourne Blanc de Noirs: a characteristically intense sparkling
- Available Wednesdays to Mondays throughout the year (closed Tuesdays)
