About the experience
Set sail on the Poole Fish and Chips Cruise! There's a special charm to enjoying a fish and chip supper by the seaside, and these boat trips from Poole Quay provide the perfect opportunity to do just that. Departing at 7:30 PM from the little blue kiosk on the Poole quayside, you'll embark on a one-and-a-half-hour tour around Poole Harbour and beyond. With live commentary that is clear and easy to hear, you'll learn about the sights you see along the way. Once you're underway, your fish and chips will be delivered by the local chip shop, All-ways Fryday (what a great name!). You can choose to enjoy your meal in the passenger lounge below deck or outside on the open-top deck, allowing you to savour the fresh air. A fully stocked bar is available, offering hot and cold drinks, alcoholic beverages, and snacks, so you can enjoy a nice cup of tea or a glass of wine with your meal. There are plenty of sights to see during your cruise, from the fishing boats at Poole Quay to the large vessels at the ferry terminal, along with the beautiful green spaces surrounding the coastal parks. Depending on the time of year you go, you might even enjoy your fish and chip supper while watching the sunset, making the experience even more special.
