About the experience
Set sail on the Poole Fish and Chips Cruise! Everyone knows that a fish and chip supper tastes better by the seaside, and these boat trips from Poole Quay are the perfect way to enjoy both from the water. Departing at 7:30 PM from the little blue kiosk on the Poole quayside, you'll embark on a one-and-a-half-hour tour around Poole Harbour and beyond. With clear and easily audible live commentary, you’ll learn and see plenty during the journey. Once you're underway, your fish and chip meal, delivered by the local chip shop All-ways Fryday (isn't that a great name?), will be handed to you. You can choose to sit below the deck in the passenger lounge to enjoy your food or eat in the fresh air on the open-top deck. There’s a fully stocked bar offering hot drinks, cold drinks, alcoholic beverages, and snacks, so you can sip a nice cup of tea or a glass of wine with your meal! Additionally, there are many sights to see during your cruise. From the fishing boats at Poole Quay and the large vessels at the ferry terminal to the beautiful green spaces surrounding the coastal parks, it’s lovely to experience it all from the water. Depending on the time of year you go, you might enjoy your fish and chip supper while the sun sets, making your cruise even more special.
