If you have a young fan of Paddington Bear™ who’s aged 3 - 15 years old - perhaps from the much loved movies or the bestselling books by Michael Bond - then we think they’ll love this, the official Paddington Bear™ walking tour of London! For over 60 years, the red hatted, duffle coat wearing bear from Darkest Peru - who always has a marmalade sandwich under his hat for emergencies (because bears often have emergencies), has been a firm favourite to many generations of kids, and it’s the spirit of his hilarious and heartwarming adventures that is kept alive on this special tour. The tour starts where the very first book itself started, on the concourse at Paddington Railway Station, where Mr and Mrs Brown happened upon him, with his suitcase and that famous luggage label, instructing them to “Please look after this bear, thank you”. Your little one will love seeing the actual location from where the stories started, which are commemorated by the bronze statue of Paddington that’ll make for a lovely photo opportunity. But so too, will the other stops you’ll make along this 2 ½ hour tour, taking in many of the memorable locations from both the films and the books, including Mr Gruber’s antiques shop, Portobello Market, and much more besides. - Child tickets are 3 - 15 years
- All people under 18 (i.e. 17 years old and younger) must be accompanied by an adult (aged 18 years or over)
- Saturdays departing at 10:30am (Jan - Dec)
- Tuesday departing at 10:30am (School Holidays and Jul-Aug)
- Tours depart from Paddington Railway Station and finish at Portobello Road (a short walk from Notting Hill Gate tube station)
- Tour finish at Portobello Road
Minimum Age: 3 years
- As part of the walking tour, there will be a short bus journey on public transport, so each member of your party will need either an Oyster Card or a Travelcard valid to travel on the day of the tour in Zones 1-2, under 11's travel for free
- Owing to the nature of the locations visited, this tour is not accessible for wheelchair users
