This prosperous family-run ironwork business that produces everything from latches, stays, bells, and tie backs to custom-designed and forged gates and furnishings - located close to Hereford - is your host for these blacksmith experience days. This is our industrial tradition at its finest, generating high-quality functional and beautiful ironwork in both contemporary and classic designs. Don't believe us? This forge frequently works on historic and religious structures maintained by organisations like the National Trust, English Heritage, and Cdaw in Wales! And with this incredible 3 hour session, you'll have the chance to experience it as you learn how to use heat and hammer to form a decorative item made from raw iron that you can take home with you. With immense satisfaction gained from working with the materials and putting hard, physical work into creating something special, as well as learning a new skill, this Blacksmith course is ideal for those who have a creative side or are curious about this ancient form of artistry.
