About the experience
You don't have to be in the army to drive a military truck. The Off Road 4x4 Army Truck Driving Experience gets you behind the wheel of a Leyland DAF T244 GS, one of the most versatile vehicles around. After your welcome, sign on and safety briefing you'll be introduced to the DAF '4 Tonner', a troop carrier with capacity for 14 passengers. Your time behind the wheel will take place on a custom built off-road course and will test your driving skills in a type of vehicle most drivers are unaccustomed to.

- Full UK manual licence must be held for 12 months plus, must be presented on the day
- Good understanding of the English language is required for instruction purposes
- The experience content, equipment used and restrictions may vary
- No dogs allowed on site
- Participants must be medically fit to take part
- Anyone deemed to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs will not be permitted to participate
- There may be other participants sharing the vehicle, as well as the instructor

Selected weekday and weekend dates from March to September.
Severe weather may cause the experience to be delayed or postponed. If this happens, an alternative date will be offered to you by the experience provider.
