Travel back in time and try your hand at using a Mediaeval Longbow with this experience in Maldon, Essex. Starting with a 30 minute briefing and introduction, you will learn the basic skills needed to fire one of these huge bows used as far back as the 14th century. Aim and shoot at mediaeval themed targets set out at different distances and see how far you can progress during your taster session. Really enjoyed a day's long bow experience with Now Strike.
I was in a group of about a dozen fellow archers. The tuition was good and we had plenty of chance to shoot, in several different formats , all interspersed with a graphic account of a famous historic battle.
I would definitely recommend it and indeed I would like to return.
The staff at Into the Blue were very helpful and friendly and i'd also use them again.

it was an amazing day the instructor Adam really knew his stuff and really help us get better on how we should use the bows, i have already started to make plans to go again for someone who came with me and spectated and really got into it even tho they was not fully participating i would gladly recommend this to anyone looking for a good day out
