On this adrenaline pumping 50 minute ride, you’ll depart from the pier at the London Eye on South Bank,whizzing past London’s best known landmarks, from the Big Ben and Tower Bridge to the Houses of Parliament before reaching Canary Wharf as your expert skipper and guide on board offer you insightful facts, funny anecdotes and keep you entertained throughout. Information
- There are no age or weight restrictions
- Under 14's must be accompanied by an adult
- Participants will need to be able to climb onboard and sit on an individual seat for the duration of the trip
- All boats can experience unpredictable movements that can aggravate existing medical conditions
- Not suitable for passengers with heart problems, current or historical neck or back problems
- Without exception pregnant passengers CANNOT travel
- Whilst Thames Rockets are unable to take wheelchairs actually on-board, guests can travel with their carers assistance to board the vessel and down steps into the seating area. Guests must be able to sit unaided once onboard
- All bookings are subject to availability and guests should book at least two weeks in advance, especially in peak season
- Operating 7 days a week (November - April Thursday's-Sunday only)
- Experiences do not run the 24th, 25th December

- The Speedboat Experiences can accommodate people with some disabilities The SCOPE has approved the boat and there are specially designed stability rails on board.

Great new way to see London - entertaining facts about sites along the River then high speed ride accompanied by loud sound track for the middle section of the trip. All done efficiently with easy access from London Eye pier. 12 passengers per boat. Very enjoyable experience.

Fantastic experience, actual ride was amazing and knowledge of the chap that took us out was brilliant and very very entertaining, my husband knows quite a lot about London, but even he got off having learnt one or 2 things.... What a great experience WHIZZING along the river THAMES at 35knotts bouncing over the waves making sharp left and right turns. All whilst listening to Theme tunes from JAMES BOND movies. Oh and of course all in the capable hands of our 2 hosts. Thank you THAMES ROCKETS I will do it again soon

A very exhilarating rib ride once we were able to increase the knots. The accompanying music was very appropriate adding to the thrill. Our navigator, Ian, was superb and his side kick was full of information and knowledge about landmarks as we travelled back to the "eye."A great experience.

Brilliant, you have to be mad not to do it. I would use this company, we saw other boats out there but they didn't seem to be having as much fun as us.

Great birthday surprise for our best friend - tour guide Matt was funny and informative. The extreme factor when you get out past Tower Bridge was heightened by the pouring rain (waterproofs provided) but a brilliant London experience!
