About the Kids Pasta Adventure Cookery Class - London
If your bambinis love their pasta and Italian food, this tasty and exciting cookery class for kids aged 5 - 12 will be absolutely bellissima! On this two hour course at La Nina Caffe and Mercato on the Isle of Dogs in East London, they'll get the opportunity to learn how to make fresh pasta from scratch - which, if we don't mind saying so ourselves, will be the freshest they've ever tasted. And best of all, it's a lot easier to make pasta than you might imagine, and it's something that all kids can get stuck into, using the finest 00 grade flour and eggs to craft their very own tagliatelle and farfalle shapes. Expert Italian chefs will be on hand throughout the various stages of making, from sifting to mixing and kneading to shaping - and that's not all. Because they'll also be making two delicious sauces to accompany their pasta - a tomato based one and a creamy one. Then comes the little chef's reward, as everyone sits down to tuck into their pasta, and the satisfaction will come from knowing not only how good fresh pasta is to eat but knowing that they've made it themselves as well!

- Skilled and friendly instructors
- Learn to use flour and eggs to create the perfect pasta dough
- Knead, roll, and shape pasta into different forms, such as tagliatelle and ''farfalle'' (bow tie shape)
- Create two sauces; a rich flavourful tomato sauce and a creamy Alfredo sauce
- All ingredients, tools, and equipment are provided
- Classes last two hours
- After a fun-filled session of cooking, the kids will get to enjoy the meals they've crafted all by themselves!
