About the experience
Paddle your way along the Derwent in the Peak District with a TrackDays.co.uk kayaking experience. Choose between white waters if you're looking for some fierce fun; or opt for a more relaxed tour outing - all of the stunning scenery of the Peak District included as standard no matter what you choose! These waterways are some of the most picturesque for kayaking in the area - with the rivers running past Bakewell, Matlock, Belper, and Derby. These experiences are excellent for beginners because the team use inflatable tandem and solo kayaks with stabilising side tubes. If you're a bit more experienced on the water there is still plenty of excitement on offer - particularly on the rapids session.
- White water kayaking on the River Derwent
- Go gentle on a tour or ride the rapids

- Full tuition with sessions hosted by a guide
- Two hour kayaking session in the stunning Peak District

Tours
- Kayak for 7 miles of Derwent water between Darley Dales and Matlock Bath
- Paddle through beautiful Derbyshire countryside on the upper sections before taking on the small grade white water on the Derwent rapids
Rapids
- This session will introduce you to the basics of white water paddling
- Paddle to the Matlock Slalom course and take on the rapids!

Information
Minimum Age: 6 years
- Available on selected weekday and weekend dates throughout the year
- Minimum age 6
- All under 18's must be accompanied by a parent or guardian

- All participants must be able to swim and feel confident in open water
- A minimum of two vouchers must be purchased for this experience
- Spectators are welcome to watch the departure
