The kitchen has plenty of granite worktop space and is designed in a rustic farmhouse Shaker style, with arched windows that offer a view of the courtyard and the adjacent castle hotel. The cookery courses are led by Head Chef Marc Williams and his team of culinary experts. Marc has worked in Two AA Rosette and Michelin Bib Gourmand restaurants, and he is passionate about sustainability and the heritage and flavours of the Yorkshire Dales. The cookery school's ethos is based on using local and seasonal produce, which enhances the dishes' quality. The school sources many of its fresh ingredients from Swinton Park's own walled kitchen garden, and meat and fish are sourced from the same estate. Under the guidance of Chef Marc and his team, you'll have a great time creating delicious dishes using the freshest ingredients. The classes have an enthusiastic and informal approach, which makes the learning process fun and enjoyable.
