About the experience
Looking for a fun and unique animal experience? Look no further than ‘Forest Lodge’ in Essex! This friendly miniature zoo and animal experience centre is home to a whole menagerie of animals (mostly adopted and rescued), including the incredibly curious and sociable ferrets. During your visit, your ranger host will take you to meet the resident ferrets. Your experience will last around 20-30 minutes, where you will be able to hold some ferrets and learn lots of different facts about these super smart animals. Plus, you can also take selfies with your favourite new ferret friend! But that's not all - your ticket to ‘Meet the Ferrets’ also includes general entry to the mini zoo, so you can explore and see the other rescued animals that call ‘Forest Lodge’ home. - Spectators are welcome for a fee payable direct on the day
- Minimum age 2
- Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult
- This experience is not suitable for anyone who is pregnant, has a low/supressed immune system or has cold/flu symptoms
Minimum Age: 2 years
- Carers assisting those with disabilities can attend free of charge upon providing proof of DLA (Disabled Living Allowance), a Blue Badge or Freedom Pass or a signed letter from a doctor or GP (Photo ID Required)
- Prior to your visit you will need to complete an animal handling consent form
- Selected weekdays and weekends throughout the year, subject to availability
- Slots can be booked from 10am to 5pm
- After your experience you are welcome to enjoy the rest of the mini zoo until 6pm
