The relatively new sport of drifting is going from strength to strength to become arguably one of the most exciting forms of four-wheeled fun around the globe, with the ability to captivate large audiences due to its daredevil, freestyle version of motorsport. Would you like more time sliding around in one of our purpose-built drift cars? The novice to semi-pro thrill experience gives you more time behind the wheel, in 1 x 5-minute session, followed by another 10-minute session, with an additional circuit to learn more advanced techniques.

Itinerary

  • Welcome and driver safety briefing

Session 1 - powerslide in with 5-minutes behind the wheel learning inial techniques such as:

  • Power over initiations
  • Countersteer
  • Throttle balance
  • Direction change

Session 2 - step up to course number 2 for 5 minutes to learn:

  • Handbrake initiations
  • How to extend a drift
  • Quick direction changes
  • Smooth exit from drift
  • Demonstration lap from your instructor
  • Three attempts behind the wheel on this more demanding course
  • Certification of completion

  • Please allow up to 1.5 hours at the venue from arrival to departure.

  • Unless pre-purchased, an optional Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) will be offered to you at registration on the day. The pay on the day price is £5 more than booking online.
  • This voucher is valid for 10 months from the date of purchase. We recommend booking your voucher 8 - 12 weeks in advance. You can upgrade the validity when you order. A high speed passenger ride can be added for £10. There is an additional fee to book a weekend date.

  • Driver Requirements:
    In order to take part, drivers must have and produce their booking confirmation and a driving licence which allows them to legally drive on UK roads
    Drivers must be able to understand instructions given to them in English
    Participants must be medically fit to take part
    Glasses must be worn if required for driving
    Please check the driver meets these requirements before you book

    Venue Rules:
    Some venues mentioned below may not be relevant to this experience
    Anyone deemed to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs will not be permitted to participate
    No dogs allowed on site
    The experience content, equipment used and restrictions may vary according to location
    Customers must arrive at their booking location 30 minutes before their drive time and if late may forfeit their booking
    Full-face helmets must be worn when driving at Brands Hatch, Oulton Park, Goodwood and Snetterton (you can bring your own)

  • Driving experiences are still carried out during rainy weather. All of our cars are road cars and are fitted with wet weather tyres. We advise you to wear waterproof clothing. In extreme weather conditions, events may be cancelled. In this eventuality, we or the events team directly will do our best to contact the participant to inform you and rearrange your experience.
