About the Dakar Rally Jump and Dirt Experience
Presenting a rally driving experience that really will take a leap of faith! The Dakar Rally Jump and Dirt package, hosted exclusively at our Bovingdon Airfield venue in Hertfordshire, which will let you feel like the next step up from a World Rally Championship driver. You’ll be attempting a total of 8 laps and thus 8 tries at jumping off the Launch Pad in a Dakar Rally spec Yamaha, gradually gaining in confidence under the expert guidance of your instructor. But the action doesn’t end there, as you’ll also get to enjoy some super fast laps sliding and skidding across the dirt rally stage which you can really go full throttle on!
- Welcome and sign on
- 30 Minute Introductory Briefing: Covering racing lines, throttle/braking technique and track day safety etiquette
- 4 x Sighting Laps including 1 high speed passenger lap in a track prepared sports car
- 8 laps around Rally X stage incorporating circuit driving and a loose gravel section
- 8 attempts at jumping "The Launch Pad", the world’s biggest rally jump experience where you can get some serious air time jumping the gap
- 15 Laps sliding across the dirt rally stage, consisting of 2 warm up laps and 13 fast laps

Experience Information
Vouchers are valid for 10 months from the date of purchase. Saturday dates can be booked for an upgrade fee. You can upgrade the validity when you order.
- Full Manual UK or International drivers license is required to partake in this experience
- You will need to present the license on the day, photocopies will not be accepted
- You must be physically fit with no serious health conditions
- Glasses must be worn if necessary
- Flat soled shoes must be worn
- Helmets are supplied at the venue
- If you wish to book a weekend date you must pay a surcharge per driver
- When ordering a voucher or booking a date for Bovingdon Experiences you also agree to the additional Bovingdon Terms and Conditions
- Boost upgrade available on the day for £19, subject to availability and weather conditions

This experience is run seasonally only from May - August. Weekends run on selected Saturdays but require a surcharge to book (unless prepaid). Saturdays get booked up quickly so it's likely that only the early morning slots will be available unless you book well in advance.
Optional Damage Liability Reductions (ODLR) can be purchased on the day from £25. Without ODLR, drivers will be liable to pay the full insurance excess on any vehicle they damage.
In the case of severe weather, your event may be delayed or postponed. In this instance, you will be offered alternative dates. No refund will be offered.
