During the one-day course, you'll learn the basics of bush crafting in the ancient woodlands of Dorset. You'll also have to make yourself a shelter for the night, which could involve building something tarp-based or setting up a hammock. It'll be a test of your knot-tying skills, but it'll be surprisingly snug and warm. You'll also learn about traps and tracking, foraging, and carving tools and utensils. Bushcraft Weekend

The family bushcraft weekend us for two adults and two children under the age of 18.

Information
- Under 16's must be accompanied by a participating adult
- Maximum age is 17 for a child on the family course
- Selected dates throughout the year, subject to availability
- Bushcraft Day - Sessions run from 9am to 5pm
- Bushcraft Weekend - Courses run from Friday at 6pm to Sunday at 12 noon
Minimum Age: 4 years
- Suitable outdoor clothing and footwear should be worn
