About the experience
They are one of the most influential and iconic British bands of all time, and were at the forefront of the Merseybeat era before going onto become well loved the world over. Who else could we be talking about but The Beatles? And on this leisurely 2 hour walking tour of Liverpool, where it all started for them, you’ll get to explore their early formative years in the 1960s. Setting off from the Titanic memorial, your tour guide and Beatles expert will take you in the Fab Four’s footsteps, as you explore many of the iconic landmarks associated with them - including the famous bronze statue of John, Paul, George and Ringo, down Matthew Street to the famous Cavern Club, where they played their first gig in 1961. Within two years, by the time they released their first single “Love Me Do” in 1963, they had played 292 shows here. You’ll also get to pay a visit to the Cavern walk of fame, a real who’s who of pop history, before you finish along the waterfront area of Liverpool, with a multitude of shops, bars and restaurants to relax in after an unforgettable trip for Beatles fans!
