- A pre flight briefing with your instructor
- Your selected flight time in a two Cessna 152 or four seater Cessna 172
- You will do as much of the flying as possible
- Take off and landing are handled by the instructor
- After the flight you will be presented with a first flight certificate

Information
- Minimum age is 14
- Under 18s must be accompanied by an adult on the airfield
- Maximum weight limit for two seaters is 15 stone
- Participants weighing over 15 stone should purchase the four seater voucher
- Maximum height 6ft 4ins
- Flights are available Tuesdays to Saturday throughout the year
- Flights may be postponed if the weather conditions are poor

Maximum Height: 193.04 cm
Maximum Weight: 95.25 kg
- Spectators are very welcome to watch the take of and landing
- Passengers are not permitted in flights at this training school
- The nearby Aviator restaurant provides superb views across the airfield with hot and cold food available from 9.00am to 9.00pm every day

I very much enjoyed the experience and strongly recommend it. My instructor was Dave at Staverton. He explained the aircraft controls and instruments in a clear way prior to departure and then gave me control of the aircraft from almost immediately after take off through to start of approach. Great experience - go try it.

The flying experience itself was amazing! Alex the instructor at Staverton Airport was great, his whole demeanor put me at ease and I thoroughly enjoyed the experience. He also took the controls a couple of times to allow me to take pictures and video.
Into The Blue are a great company with excellent communications. Due to the pandemic they pushed back the end date on my experience three times so that I wouldn't miss out. I can't praise them enough.

30 minute flying lesson. Despite the covid issues, everyone worked hard to arrange a suitable date. On the date, everything was great. Good check in safety briefing and the full time at the controls. Recommended.

What a great way to spend an afternoon. Very friendly people in the flying school. Practically the whole flight was spent flying the plane - the pilot did the take off and the landing. An excellent experience which I hope to do again.

Thoroughly enjoyed this experience. Dave Houghton was a brilliant instructor. He was knowledgeable, articulate and calm throughout. He kindly allowed my wife to join me and ensured the flight included a route and sights which we would be familiar with and enjoy. We now have wonderful memories of the day and felt Dave went above and beyond to ensure customer satisfaction.
