With numerous aircraft movements happening seven days a week, all year round, you'll be immersed in the excitement of aviation. As your lesson begins, everything will be explained to you in detail. Are you ready for takeoff? It's time to align the nose of the aircraft with the centerline of Humberside Airport's long tarmac runway. This is where your flying journey truly starts. Once the plane levels off (and you've had a moment to catch your breath), there's no time to be distracted by the stunning views of the estuary and Lincolnshire countryside around the airport; this is a serious flying lesson! After witnessing a smooth takeoff, it will be your turn. You might think that performing a gentle descent is easy, but you'll quickly discover that it requires lowering the power and decreasing the pitch. Feeling confident? Let’s move on to a climbing turn! Here’s where the mantra "more right rudder in right turns" and "less left rudder in left turns" comes into play.

- Spectators are welcome
- Choose the 4-seater option and an interested observer can accompany you for your flight (subject to maximum weight restrictions)
- Four-seater flights are usually operated by Cessna and Piper aircraft
- Minimum age 14
- Under 18s must be accompanied by an adult on the airfield
- Weight restrictions (4 seater) maximum combined weight 200kg
- Participants need to be in good health and able to get on and off the aircraft unaided
- All participants should bring valid photo ID (such as a UK/EU passport or driving licence)
Minimum Age: 14 years
Maximum Weight: 200.00 kg
- Flight times quoted are 'chock to chock' engine start to engine stop and include the time spent taxiing.
- Opportunity to upgrade to a 90 or 120-minute flight duration for an additional charge payable when booking your date
- Free parking is provided in the 'Long Stay 4' car park.
- Please bring your parking ticket to the flying school, where it will be valid for free.
