It may sound a little daunting, especially if it is your first time, but this 60 Minute Flying Lesson from Bodmin Airfield is designed to put you at ease and get you comfortable in the skies alongside an expert instructor. At its core, it's a lesson intended to give you the basic skills to fly a Cessna 4-seater 172 through the skies, but also a chance for you to explore the heart of Cornwall from the air - as this flight path promises stunning views of Bodmin Moor and beyond. Not only is it a chance to get some flying skills under your belt, but escape the hustle and bustle of Cornwall which can be a bit of a tourist trap at any time of the year. As soon as you arrive at Bodmin, you'll be in the heart of the South West and part of a flying school who have been teaching pupils to fly since 1972. After you've had your safety briefing and an overview of the controls, your instructor will master take-off, letting you enjoy those immediate coastline views along the Celtic Sea and the English Channel. Nothing prepares you for seeing these for the first time, or the feeling you will get when you take the controls! With spectacular coastal views that stretch for miles along this beautiful part of the UK and expert tuition from a passionate instructor, this flying lesson is a no brainer for those who want to stretch their wings and be taken to new places!

- Minimum age is 14
- Parental/guardian consent is required for all participants under 18
- Please read the height and weight restrictions before booking
- Friends and family are more than welcome to come along to show support and listen to the flight briefings
- On four seater flights you can usually bring along one guest who can observe the lesson from the rear seats for an additional charge of £20, payable when booking your date
