Grab a friend and embark on a flying lesson in a 4 seater Piper PA28 aircraft from a historic flying school based at Blackbushe Airfield. If you are after the ultimate flying experience and up to learning how to fly the aircraft yourself, look no further. With expert pilots on hand to show you the ropes and get you comfortable once in the air, it’s safe to say you will be flying on your own in no time. This 60 Minute lesson will give you the confidence to fly high in the skies with ease and comes with the added benefit of being able to bring a friend or family member. With a history going back to 1985 and a flight school being there since then, you are in safe hands. Our pilots are not only passionate about taking people to the skies but also making sure they are comfortable and learn the tools needed to fly confidently. You can make a day of it with this experience as there are brilliant on-site facilities including The Bushe Cafe which offers a range of refreshments and boasts a great view of the runway. Even if your companion doesn’t want to go up into the skies, they can still watch you take off and fly from this convenient spot. For aviation enthusiasts wanting to learn how to fly, or keen companions wanting to make a friends day by accompanying them, this flying experience is an ideal way to say hello to the skies.

- Under 18s must be accompanied on the airfield by an adult
- Customers may be asked to show a photographic form of ID on the day

- Lessons are available throughout the year, seven days a week
- Flights are subject to weather conditions and availability
- Spectators are very welcome at this flying school
- The Bushe Cafe on the airfield offers great views of the runway allowing you to see participants depart and land
- It may be possible for a friend or family member, who is also interested in flying classes, to sit in the back of the plane and listen in on headphones
- This is at the discretion of the instructor on the day and subject to weight restrictions.
