Roam over the hills and vast terrain of the Suffolk and Cambridgeshire border with this 30 Minute Land Rover taster session ideal for adventure seekers or die hard Landy fans who are keen to get behind the wheel and enjoy some expert instruction on how to drive these powerful beasts. After experiencing a short demo drive from your expert instructor, you’ll soon be sitting firmly behind the wheel and experiencing the best these vehicles can offer. With the chance to add up to two guests to share the driving or simply sit back and enjoy the ride, this is the ultimate off roading package suitable for those craving a unique driving experience. The Elveden Estate in Thetford is the perfect location for having some fun with these vehicles and witnessing what they can do due to the variety of terrains, tracks, hills and trails the site has to offer. After a few minutes of driving, you’ll soon experience the powerful acceleration of a Land Rover Discovery and its slick suspension as you glide over the muddy landscape. Not only is this landscape a perfect accompaniment to this driving experience, but you also receive 1:1 tuition which means you get the most out of those 30 minutes. Whether you are a Landy fan through or through, or are simply looking for an adventurous driving experience like no other, why not take to the muddy terrain of the countryside and learn how to master this incredible off-roading vehicle.

The venue is open 7 days a week from 10-4 during winter months and 10-5.30 when the days are longer

Spectators

Two spectators can ride as passengers in the vehicle free of charge or share the drive time
Spectator areas are provided however views of the action can be limited as the driving course heads off into the countryside

Wonderful to experience off road driving without putting my Jeep at risk! The Land Rover Discovery proved to be a very capable vehicle for the challenges the instructor presented me with during the one hour drive. The venue was easy to find, although the meeting point took some finding, after asking around. All in all a great experience.

A superb morning's drive: Malcolm met us on the Elveden estate and we (myself driving and my boys - aged 11 and 7 - 'riding shotgun' in the back of the Landy) proceeded to explore just about every (it seemed!) track, ride, forest trail and sink hole in the woods over the course of the next hour. The terrain varied from 'gentle' routes between trees and across the odd obstacle (such as side slopes and elephant tracks) to more challenging 25-foot ascents and descents. At all times Malcolm's expertise and guidance were on hand to ensure we didn't get into too much trouble, and his pleasant company and easygoing manner made the whole experience that much more enjoyable. All in all this was an excellent experience that I would reccomend to anyone. Thanks again and hope to see you again soon!

I had a really lovely day! Malcolm was so calm and relaxed, making me feel very comfortable and quite confident (even if I did find it a little scary!). Was great to have the family on board to share it with me and that Malcolm was able to point out ideal spots for photos to be taken to help with my memories! This was a fantastic experience from start to finish. Booking was straight forward and the instructions were easy to follow.
